ISO 20022 defines the Universal Financial Industry Message Scheme, a Model Driven Architecture for describing a semantic data model and generation of syntax including ASN.1 and XML Schema 1.0.

ISO20022.org is the site of the international repository where you’ll find the registered messages and registration procedures. It’s run by the international Registration Authority, overseen by the Registration Management Group. Subject matter experts make up Standards Evaluation Groups which review proposals. The Technical Support Group provides technical expertise to all groups.

ISO20022.plus enhances the standard to provide support for modelling interfaces, and generating JSON Schema, OpenAPI, WSDL and XML Schema 1.1. Further, we explain how to create your own repository to generate variant messages, whether for your organisations or nation.
